Lilongwe - Malawi President Bingu wa Mutharika has temporarily moved out of his state mansion, claiming it is haunted by ghosts, a senior aide said.
The Reverend Malani Mtonga, presidential aide on Christian affairs, said that Mutharika had asked the clergy to pray to "exorcise evil spirits". Read article here - IOL: Africa, 14th March 2004.
My advice... forget the friggin' ghosts... invite them over for a cup of java or tea and biscuits. Perhaps they'll join the party.
There are far bigger problems to worry about... like staying in power until the next general election.
